回复删除The fellow I bought my panels from was repairing a bunch of shattered panels from a truck wreck during transport and he used what you are using, minwax satin gloss polyurethane, he said don't use high gloss because it will reflect the light and put it on thick

回复删除2 months and the resin is cracking. No discoloration. Applied a layer of rustoleum flex from home depot, $6, and it looks tough again. Definitely recommend it over a hard resin but you need that hard resin to support the weight of the broken glass so it doesn't droop. Again, you have the only video worth watching on this subject so thanks again.

回复删除They're cheap very inefficient Chinese diodes, and they work good. Make up your fucking mind, are they Chinese crap or are they good.

Personally I don't like any resistance across any diode for solar power. It should be a microcontroller that auto disconnects if the voltage reverses direction. The schottky diode may have a lower resistance giving you higher voltage but if the voltage goes in the reverse Direction it will allow more to flow back to the panel. It would be good to take your voltmeter and do a reverse voltage drop across that diode before installing it in your system.

回复删除schottky diodes produce less heat when used, They are more efficient, they allow more voltage to pass by not consuming it and producing heat, = better forward voltage drop, I'm doing 1.5v solar garden light projects, But i've never seen ones this big, Cool!

回复删除I have some cracked glass panels, using a energy meter i get 0 amps, hooked up to battery , .5amp is the best i have gotten, what can u do to get at least 6 amos from the 8.36A the panel suppose to output?

回复删除my amorphous did vey well when i tested them 140w out of 100w panels, apparrently thats how they start out and then settle down to rated watts, the down side for me was my 100w amorphous panels are probably bigger than my 250w mono, multis and polys but i love them all just the same, they compliment one another
